how can anyone get anything done in such a place?

even if it takes me 10 years atleast i'll know that it all was done rite

Sorry Oz, I think it is a lot like this country, Young folks expect instant gratification. They don't want to start at the bottom and work up. They also discover work is really "work."

It was a really chaotic day for my wife

They vaccinated 100 juveniles for Coryza, administered 40 doses of ivermectin pour on and inseminated 2 pigs as well as cleaned brooders, leg banded hatched chicks and set eggs in the incubator.

Dodong participated in most of the skill related tasks required to care for the animals in just 24 hours.

Ariel - Lillians brother started.

He is in high school at 19. He went back to school this year. He wants to do animal husbandry at college.

Mrs Oz set him up as the gardener. He will work about 0.6FTE when at school.

Dodong will take over Bernies role and will get an increas in pay because of it.

My wife will head back to Bacolod in the morning. The weekend is a big fiesta in Kabankalan so she will return to the farm for the weekend.

What a crazy 48 hours

Dodong and Ariel decided its easier to catch chickens at night so they treated the A coops with ivermectin as well last night. C block to go.

Every couple of months I give the workers an updated schedule of tasks so that they can plan their days and weeks.
