The two finalists were both excellent. I would have been happy with either.

I am actually going that business continues to improve rapidly so I can hire Dandy as well. The three of them sound make a good team.

Ariel is trying hard to prove his worth. He has gone from doing what he wants to doing what I want.

Ha! He probably realized his job is in jeopardy since you have a 3rd guy in your back pocket, so to speak... Glad he is doing better and congrats on the new hire, hope he works out as well as Dodong... Happy belated to Mrs. Oz...

it was a great day yesterday.

after we set up the birthday, I began Florencio's- also known as Toto - orientation.

we covered breeds and breed differentiation, blue black slash genetics and egg colors.

we then moved onto practical orientation with day old chicks hitting the brooder.

we then spent an hour looking at the pigs and discussing our breeding goals.

Toto was very impressed in our quality.

we had about 30 people here for lunch. lots of food and laughter

He did well. He seems to understand what I am saying. I tested his comprehension by having him pick differences in chickens.

my assessment of Ariel is that he was not really told what was expected of him. he came in after Dodong moved into the farm worker from groundsman position but only worked around school. his sister had him writing as her gopher.

getting him focused on our priorities is the goal.
