Well as fate would have it, I had to get ride of my flock and will be relocating back to PA. This pic is a few years old but I pretty much haven't changed except for some more grey hair and a few more wrinkles. Oz great to hear the adaption process is steaming ahead although slow for every bodies liking.

I have to throw a post down in here, it's slipping down my profile feed!

Glad to hear the adoption process is moving forward.

As for the foam, would it not be that hard and a heap cheaper to buy from a rubber/foam place and take the time to cut your own egg holes?

Something like this acoustic foam is 50cm x 50cm and $13.50AU, just needs the egg holes cut. A shop like Clarks will even cut them to spec if your happy to pay.

This one is $15 a sheet (same size) but has deeper convolute, could pretty much not cut a hole and just fill the un-used holes.

Thanks Ben. We used to have that foam available in hospitals as egg crate mattresses - single patient use. Every now and then, one used to end up in a nurses apartment

It looks like La Palma Chicks is getting some Basques. One just got out of the shell. More to follow. I have SFH like popcorn and an Ameracauana. Polish Mottled Houdan are slow starters but its still day 20.
SFH!!! I have 4 due to hatch this week, trying to get more. I love them, it's like a box of chocolates, so many colors!
