Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

Blue eggs and auto-sexing. No fretting over whether they might turn out to be roosters. Also good foragers and friendly birds.

Sold!

I need to get me some of those

One of my suppliers http://bdfarm.com/shop/ has wild turkey, pheasant and chukar available already.

I want to do a run once the heritage turkey eggs start becoming common.

I so much want a rafter of bourbon reds and royal palms.

Wow Oz...I am so excited to see this post! They are practically my neighbors but I have never heard of them before. I left a message for them and hope to hear back soon. Have you purchased from them in the past?

I can collect them from you anytime even if not on the "mission" run.

Even if I dont have space on the trips, I send over boxes via sea freight every few months.

Most useful are summer clothes, sandals, shoes and jeans. All kid sizes and adults up to medium male will very quickly find homes. I even take over my size - there are old fashion singer treddlies there that can whip them into usable clothes. The clothes too big or in excess of the orphanage's needs will be given to the local department od social welfare to give to the neediest locals.

Thanks for your generousity.

We will need to setup a drop box at the next meetup :)
