I have two pullets hatched from piglett eggs. I need some more!!

he has filipino relatives. i mean the roo, not piglet - but the statement applies to both. lol

piglet was very kind and added eggs to my project.

the buff pullets in these pics came from new hampshire. The lemon cuckoo roo is from elsewhere

when is your next trip OZ?
i think you still need more eggs to round out your large foul

i would think that the girls would be laying like crazy with those longer days
if they are willing i am too

After four days of 40 plus temperatures, I am amazed that I am still getting a couple of eggs each day!
Current temperature is 45 degrees C, but a cool change is promised tonight.

Keep those poor southern chooks cool ash. We dont want them laying hard boiled eggs

The Province is Negros Occidental. The USA might have trouble with a Negro Chicken.... maybe "the cauayan"

Perhaps the name Negrense could do magic for the strain. Nice for keeping the roo. If it is the roo in your 10/28/2013 photo its a good looking fowl. If mated to a red local hen it will produce an offspring with a philippine beetle color.
