Hi! I wish I had some of the eggs you are looking for, unfortunately I don't have any of those breeds! Good Luck! I am envious of Coco Beach Farm!

I am ordering some meaties, I think for my first go I will get some cornish x cheaply because I really dont want long term work with meaties, 8 weeks if they make it and in the pan. I am going to make a run/coop that I can dismantle for the summer and put back up in the fall for another batch. I like things to look nice and do not want to be swimming in the pool smelling chicken poop after a summer drench

I did meaties in the winter come summer time they had to go....And they don't really need a run per say. All they do is eat poop and sleep, I had the coop door open and the only one that went outside was the rooster.... There was food out there. Other than that the Cornish X I got from Mcmurry didn't need exercise room. I think I went to 13 or 14 weeks. they were BIG birds.

If hes charging $5 an egg, $2.50 for an EE, I think I'll look elsewhere

Gotta figure though, if you need A LOT of different breeds and you can get them all from the same place, you can save a bunch on shipping. Also, some eggs are worth paying more for.... I don't personally know much about standard, but for example some folks on here can easily charge $20+ for a chick because they're quality birds.. others can only get $5.

And seeing Oz needs a bunch, he can probably work a deal

IDK on here you can find EE eggs cheap 2 bucks a dozen. Maybe its just my cheap self but that seems really high priced for 1 shipped egg that will give you a 25% hatching rate the first time its shipped

gotcha,,,, freaked for a minute... I pray you have more luck and happiness with them than I... Cant stand the boogers! and Boogers that stink something fierce for being so small!

give them FF
cuts way back on the stink

game birds are chickens too just much smaller than the large fowl i already raise

we have a few home brewed meaties in our brooder at the moment

not having a french Bresse roo (worlds best meat bird)

i put my 2 hens in with my splash english orpington

so far 3 hatched out but 1 was weak & didn't make it

the other 2 are getting bigger by the day

i will put them in my chicken tractor once we get into some warm weather so they have their own place to grow out.

Thursday the 27th - Arrive Sat, return Monday

i'll be sending a care package on the 24th
maybe you can get your roo
hell a few to choose from would be even better
but 1 is better than nothing

something i have found out the hard way, roosters can just fall over dead
best to have a "back up boy" if you can
even if he just hangs out with other "unmarried" roosters in their own pad
