Yep the truck has been parked about six months.... dead battery so I made arrangements to have feed delivered to the house.... One of the guys at the feed store lives within five miles of me I pay him twenty bucks to bring a months worth of hay.... Since hes driving the sixty miles home any way its just a little bit more money in his pocket. He also stacks it for me... what a guy. Anyway I had no motivation to get it fixed. But I sold my other car.... Then almost a week later someone Stole my grandmas car.... the driving car I had been using.... Right out of the handicapped parking spot.....

So for about a week now I have had NO driveable vehicle. So it was time....

I called roadside service on my insurance and asked them to bring me some batteries. Woo Hoo. They brought me two and it fired right up.... INterstate batteries too. At the two places I priced them they were going to cost me almost 400 bucks. But Roadside service only charged me their cost for the batteries.... I guess?. Anyway they were only 248. For the first time since I bought the truck it has the propper size and power. I was buying cheapo bare minimum batteries at Pep boys Going through two every two years.... Pepboys would replace em dirt cheap.... Only problem was... because they were low Amps I was going through Starters every so often.... 3 since I bought the truck....

Bigger better higher amp battery and my starter wont have to work so hard.

Sadly I have too.

Initially I had work dramas then a collapsed drive shaft bearing today as I got on the road to SD county. Instead I got a AAA tow.

Luckily it happened on Euclid and not in Temecula.

To those of you who spend time and resources for me, I sincerely apologise. I have the room, time and desire, just not the means to make it happen.

I so much want to hatch those eggs.

Sadly the buff orps and RIR i were expecting did not make USPS delivery. I hope the orps from piglett have three roos in the mix.
