Can I defend myself and the article?? I need an attorney
you just did.

i settle 8-16 hours based on time of arrival.

the ticking clock of dead eggs and malpositioned chicks does not stop for air cells

i'll just add that my wife wants to send our youngins once they arrive to the Philippines for a couple school years

so they know some about both "worlds"

OZ your wife is very bright, have you too ever thought about home schooling your 2 ?

i think most of the schools in the PI are good

i can't say the same about schools here in the states

thanks
piggy

Long before my wife embarked on her PhD in Psyche and teaching developmental psychology to college students I developed an educational model for our children.

Firstly they have the opportunity to go to school in any of the three counties to which they will be citizens.

Secondly education in USA sucks. All GEd subjects should be completed at high school. Doing Algebra in college is an appalling waste of educational hours. Speech? give me a break.

I dont want to turn this adventure thread into a homeschooling discussion thread (there are probably threads for that in the random ramblings area) so I am probably saying too much. Our kids will go to school in whatever country we are in at the time. School is vital fo social skills and learning how to survive the real world. They will also have sufficient homeschooling to exceed the standards of all three coutries' graduation requirements.

I feel it is every parents responsibility to seize every opportunity to educate a child. Our kids have tablets and enzo can do all sorts of educational games at 2.5 yrs but tablets are banned from cars. The window is a world of educational opportunities that stimulates the child's brain while providing a time to interact with your kids.Kids should be exposed to as many things as the parents can offer within their resources to see what fits the child - be it arts sports lierature or science - and develop those skills.

Awwwww! What a cutie!!! My best friend's little boy is on the spectrum. He's been receiving intensive ABA therapy from CARD since 2011 and he has come a LONG way. He gets services in-home through the end of this school year. She petitioned the school dept to let him continue in-home, even though he should have aged out of in-home and gone to the preschool this past year.

Anyways, he's gone from non-verbal to nearly completely verbal since he started with CARD. He still has some sensory issues and does not tolerate change too easily, but he's doing so much better. He does have some similar auditory processing delays that your son seems to have. For the longest time, they weren't sure if he could understand them. They're still trying to decide whether it is receptive language or auditory processing or both.
