Of the eight Turkey, one is missing a foot and has two toes on the other. Two are in pint jars forcing their legs under them and I am pretty sure one will be fine. The other may end up culled.
So of the six truly viable we have a royal palm a bourbon red a black and three bronze.
There are royal palm and bourbon red in the incubator so let's hope for a pair of each.
I will get some more bronze and black next trip.
The Rouen were a bust but the final five Pekins are pooping up a storm.
Great news is that of the first the Chukar eggs we set, two have pipped. I had all but given up on them. There are another twenty or so in the incubator and we are a adding weekly. We should have a solid commercially viable partridge population for next year.
So apart from chicken eggs. Turkey, goose, pheasant, peacock and duck are on the carry list.
