Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

Pigletts poultry fashion collection makes me think he also throws tea parties for them, everyone sitting around a small table enjoying imaginary tea out of miniscule cups

HFR, those goslings are adorable. How can they be so cute?
my wife is in change of poultry fashions here at Adobo Farms

instead of tea they get kitchen scraps all cooked up in a big pot on the bbq grill

Sorry guys but I left the camera at CocoBeach

Friday was a busy day. Half way through the two and a half hour drive to bacolod Mrs Oz bought 2 During. Trying to explain the smell of these fruits if difficult. Perhaps the best way would be that the smell of durian is like the smell of ripe guava the same way the smell of a skunk is similar to the smell of a fox. It's similar but 20x more pungent.

We sat in the car for over an hour with the during. Five hours later the smell is still lingering in the car. They will be traveling back to Tiling on the roof rack.

Thank God they taste so delicious that they are worth the assault to the olfactory system.

I made it to the dentist right on time and waited less than two minutes. I had two fillings done for a whopping $41.

Following a nice lunch with Mrs Oz, I played the game of find the plumbing fittings. It requires two to five plumbing suppliers to get all the bits you need. I still have to get 3/4" galvanized tee. Today is a new challenge.

I did manage to get a new metal chop saw, a vise, a wrecking bar, tool box, insulation (for new incubator) and sundry stuff.

I also went to the provincial agricultural department and picked up applications to become official poultry breeders so we can easily ship our products. $11 and a photo and I will have a breeder licence.

We had a nice dinner out and will head back to CocoBeach after attending the parents orientation for our kids school and I find the tees in the morning.

Photos ASAP. Sorry guys

I have spent over half a day in several stores fitting together what I needed for a repair or a new addition to the water supply system. In the states, in the last year

The search for tees was a success!

Back in tiling with no plans to do that drive for a week.

I have someone coming out to quote a pvc roof for the house. We are tired of the endless replacement of the gi sheets and water marks on our ceiling.

This week is chicken week. I just have to do the plumbing for the piggery then it's chicken sorting time. The second grow out pen has its roof and should be completed by Wednesday.

It looks like the third doe will give birth this week.

It's busy busy busy at CocoBeach beach

My little one is an animal lover. The nest boxes are way too high for any of the kids to get eggs (or my husband... he has short legs haha) but he does love stomping around the coop.
