I have spent a lot of time trying to develop a plan to supply pig genetics to thecentral and southern Philippines We taught ourselves AI and have been successful in farrowing a gilt. She had 8 piglets, 1 was mummified and two still born. Mamma pig has been producing loads of milk for the survivors and at 20 days average 17 pounds. We will wean them at 27 days. Mama will get AI with same boar 4 days later

Mrs Oz is heading back to the Philippines tonight.

We had a fun ten days together.

we have Filipino passports. Now we are in the process of getting green cards

Piglets are weaned. At 28 days they averaged 20lbs. Just 7 more months till they are ready to breed!!

The next stage of getting the flock out of here will be Nov 25. I tried to get to the Phils for thanksgiving but with traveling accros the international date line, i will be arriving on the 27th.


thats ok. my return is dec 27 and a visa is just good for 30 days so its perfect
