that's about 450 USD. the purchase price was 100. they ate 250 worth of feed. gross profit 100.

they were culls so I am happy to break even. normally a pig eats 150 kg of feed to reach market weight of 90kg. these were poor converters thus the cull.

it's just midday and I have completed 2 trips to kabankalan. the first was the pigs. we were out of there by 6 so I bought Bernie home to do his chores.

after spam eggs and rice I went back. I went to this hole in the wall electrical place and bought different coloured electrical wires and spade connectors for the egg turner.

then off to the hardware store to buy 2000lbs of cement, some GI pipe fittings and some flat GI sheet. most of the stuff on the coops has rusted out.

next trip will be for the pusogs. I can't wait for the truck which is going to bring the lumber and 8 cubic meters of sand on Sunday.

Mrs oz will stay in Bacolod til tomorrow.

all coops are elevated so they have equal area covered under coop. the pens are double the length of the coop as well.

mozza has a pond also

A 12*40 egg house of which
10*12 is Bernie's dorm with a bathroom off the side

additionally a 12*16 shelter in the grow out pen.

I took down one grow our pen.

I have also one isolation coop

PS buck Rogers has never shown one iota of aggression. he is almost too friendly

we started naming our coops after islands in the Philippines

i don't think we will run out of names with just over 7000 on the list at high tide

one of our meat goats attacked my wife

(he wanted to get in the feed room so he could help himself to the laying pellets)

she faught him then processed him for his trouble

the other met the same fate the following day

the big freezer is now full

we butchered two young muscovies today. they weighed 3.5 and 3.0 kg.

Dodong cooked "pato tin" a slow cooked casserole with tuba palm fermented alcohol, carrots potatoes and at least ten other ingredients. I am excited for dinner.
