I have yet to read that book but I have heard its a must for anybody contemplating romance in a cross cultural relationship.

romance is one thing that's covered but also things such as

kinship groups, house hold help, plus chapter 6 covers in great detail doing business in the P.I.

it's an easy read even if you don't enjoy reading

and so true! Thats a nice shot Deb! I had to put a screw in eye-hook in our ceiling and tie the top of our Christmas tree to it. That stopped the cats from dropping the tree on it's side. I always wanted to try electric fence wire, but the kids were a bit young back then.
