You need to put one in so it doesn't sag. It's very pretty though.

the gate is getting a cross brace, the lumber was short and the extra I got had not finished drying.

in the meantime, it has 76 stainless steel #14 x 2.5" screws in a square pattern 12 each paling. it wont sag for a while
