The easiest country to import live animals from is Australia.

This is because they are the hardest country to ship live animals to.

Because of the fact they dont have land borders, they have managed to keep most nasty diseases out. Only stuff bought in by migrating birds and sick ones generally die on the way

Its been a while since I updated you on the pigs

The 3 mamas. The first one will be delivering again in 6 weeks



Pig 2 and 3's babies we kept to select 2 good gilts from - they are 15 kg



Pig 1's offspring at 60kg one will become a breeder the other will be sold in a few weeks at market

On the goat front





I put an post in the facebook page to trade chickens for a buck. I got a hit, We are getting a F3 (88%) Saanen buck for an exchange with some orps!!

He is just 6 months of age but will be ready when the girls are

last year we traded 20 cockerels that we were tired of feeding for a weathered goat

he was yummy
