We had a major set back in our shipping today. The lads forgot to remove the partially punched air hole tabs on a box

1 Jersey Giant Rooster and 17 chicks suffocated on the way to the airport. Devastating.

Lesson learned I hope.

Were these mature adults or are you selling chicks at those prices? On the aside, even at almost $200, it is still a good thing that it wasn't more birds or a multi-box shipment. Could you imagine it having been 40-50 birds in multiple boxes? OUCH!

So sorry to hear about your shipping mishap. So hard when it's something that could have been prevented. But, we all make mistakes.. it's how we learn. They're not likely to repeat that one.

DD is working her mother (for mega bucks for vet school) .

She made it all from scratch. Even the icing and hand made chocolate flowers, and even spelt mum the English way!!
