After the madness of the past 48 hours, its going to be a slower day at CocoBeach.

The guys are very aplogetic about the birds. so I think they learned a lesson. The only problem is that the Jersey Giant roo was the last spare JG I had available. I will have to give up one of my breeders. We will work something out.

Pig 2 is doing well. She took on the extra piglets without a blink. She is our star and her previous batch are doing really well. They are now over 80KG and we ended up keeping 4. Her new batch are averaging 1.6kg - big piglets.

Pig 3 lost two of her babies. They were very small so we are not surprised. We had been giving them top up with piglet milk formula to get them a leg up but to no avail.

Her average piglet size was 1.2KG but 3 were between 600-800 grams.

I have an order for 20 12-16 week mixed breed layers that the boys are chasing down.

Mrs Oz bought 5 large sacks of oyster shells for 80 cents a sack before she left and they were delivered on sunday so the boys will have a good supply for a while.

We burn through around 20-25kg per two wewk feed delivery cycle.

Next feed delivery tomorrow:

50kg Fish Meal
100kg Soy Meal
700kg Corn Bran
360kg Rice Bran

whats it cost to ship a chicken?

this guy was the one that did not get his 17 day olds and JG rooster but he got 35 chicks.

We put them in 3 boxes that we recycled - Inday's father has a slew of one hour photoshops and the boxes are the perfect size for 3-6 week old chickens.

The total weight was 4KG (9.5lbs)

My shipping charge would be 1125p for the reduced order

permits were 50p
freight costs were 515p


It cost 800p in diesel to drive to the farm and back.
Ompoys Salary for the day
200p in bus and food for ompoy's return

if we divide the incedentals accross 5 orders, its around 400p

total cost is 965 pesos ($20) (without paying Inday's brother as driver) soafter I pay him for his runnumg around - I will be in the hole around a buck
