Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

very jelous - yes today is day 0

Thank you! I know with the change in altitude, rough handling by USPS - especially on my Ameraucana eggs - and our really dry air the success rate will probably be low. Plus, this is my first time incubating!

The Brinsea 20 Advance with the humidity pump should give me a decent shot at some chicks though. Turner is off and I'll check the worst rolling egg cells in 48 hours. Any other advice from anyone here is appreciated. You can PM me advice if this is a thread hijack... (LOL)

I'm what people refer to as "interesting".
Is this before you start going on about composting or after?

I am still without pics from the farm this week. The internet has been aweful

I was just looking at my spresdsheet and the white bresse are 20 weeks old already.

I am hoping to get eggs in the next 6 weeks. It will be nice to have a new breed.

I wont plan on selling them until I have around 30 females so I will be looking at Christmas before I release them for sale.

I am also going to continue crossing the White Leghorn with the Bresse to see what develops. Maybe we will get a decent dual porpose hybrid.
