Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

I agree @phage
I just found it rerefreshing that some costumers recognize the value of our brand

The recognition is a nice feather in your cap, Oz... I do agree with Phage and bama as well, too... a little early for franchising, plus once you get your pins spread out more you will more than likely have an abundance of people wanting a piece to pick and choose from... IF you ever decide to branch out in that direction...

Do you have, or have you considered, Sulmtalers for a decent dual purpose? Just curious... :)

I am curious about feeds though.
as im looking into seeds to plant and grow for food and pasture.

Any suggestions for ph?
we are about 2km from the beach in the hills with clay like soil. With tons of guava, around 60 coco, avacado, jackfruit, star apple and who knows what else.

Im very thankful for this thread and others for some information and ideas.

Now hopefully I can get the family to plant seeds and get them to grow. Otherwise we have to drop everything and do it ourself.

Thanks all and have a great day.

Pigs are just like Birds, you get out of the critter what you put into the critter! lots of people feed birds scraps and only have so-so brids with so-so weight gain and so-so egg production, same thing with pigs.

Sorry for all the car troubles.

We just found out my car isn't what it is

See, my car has a salvage title.. story was that it had water damage and had to get all new wiring. Slowly we've been peeling the layers of the story.

Apparently, my car was 2 years old with about 17000 miles on it when it was caught in a flood (or something similar) in Texas. My car was a Toyota corolla CE at that point. It sold at auction, and was fixed up. Apparently they stripped the entire inside because the interior of my car is that of a Corolla S. They even replaced the CE on the trunk lid with an S. You never would have known if you look at my car when it's parked somewhere. Someone purchased it, drove it around a whole bunch and then traded it in in Alabama years later.

I totalled my Corolla LE in 2010, and was very sad. Until the insurance gave me more money than I had paid for it. But I really loved my little car. I went to a dealer to see if they had a used car and my beloved current car had just been traded in that day. It had not even been through their inspection yet. Hubby test drove it (and scared the heck out of the guy going with him.. as he pushed that car hard haha). Anyway, long story short, I got my car 2 days later after they did all the cleaning and inspecting.. and I guess they didn't even catch the disrepancy. The title went straight from previous owner to me. A corolla at 87,000 miles for $6k even. That's very, very nice

I've put a good 10k on it since. No issues until a few days ago. Hubby had to replace a caliper that was wonky. He says the condensor needs work soon too, but heck, we're almost at 100k, it's about time for stuff like that.

Darn thing needs painting though... the paint is in sad shape these days.

My dad had his car stolen when I was a kid, they found it burned out.. someone had been joy riding it in the dunes until it ended up in flames
