All caught up.
Congrats on the piglets, doelings, and chicks. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. CONGRATS on the job and new city!!
Loved the hot springs pic, you have such a beautiful family.
I'm so sorry Mozza is going thru this. Fingers crossed and prayers that she pulls thru.

I hope that covers everything!!

I have spent many years of my life working in ICUs watching people come back from places you could not imagine. I am as aware as anyone that the fight to live is an amazing resolve.

We are doing our best to support her. The fever is now normalized, She has had no more bleeding from her nose as she did 36 hours ago.

We are trying to keep her hydrated. We ran out of norfloxacin - her dose was 40cc which is a massive amount as had to be divided up into multiple injections. I switched to tylosin - along with the lincomycin and penicillin.

I have more antibiotics being delivered on Tuesday morning.

In my short 70 years I've seen many things with animal that are sometimes hard to believe. It has been my experience that the medicine that is given to sick animals always helps an gives the animal a better chance of recovering. But, there are two other things that cannot be given by injection or in any other way that sometimes is the best medicine of all and that is love and caring about an animal. They have the uncanny ability to know when they are loved and cared about. And from what we are hearing from Oz, I think that is a big dose she is getting from the boys and that just may be the extra boost she needs.

Hoping and praying for the best for Mozza.

...so sad for the boys. For Mozza, no saddness, she lived a good life with people who cared for and loved her.

Mozza did have a very good good life.

Vincent was her primary human and was training her. He slept next to her the first two nights in the middle of the farm. He had to go home on his day off.

He will be devastated.

Inday called them.

It's been a very tough week with animals. We lost a young buckling to a freak accident and then Miracle, the young doeling they are bottle feeding injured her rear leg and is lame.

Add to that pig 13 had a gimpy rear right leg and can't weight bear and its been a poop of a week.
