So my chickens started laying finally! I have 27 chickens and the oldest 2 breeds (17 weeks) to start laying right now are my red sex link and white Plymouth rock.. looked up both breeds and they are "brown egg layers. today i got 2 white and 1 brown??

My only thinking is the white plymouth rocks are actually leghorns??? what are some differnces?

My second batch who are only a week younger than those are Black sexed link, speckled sussex, and RIR.

Earlobe color is a generalization. Legbars have white earlobes, blue/green egg. Rocks have red earlobes, brown eggs etc. many breeds don't lay eggs that match their lobes.

It's Soo funny cuz I've heard of so many people that got TSC chicks and they Arnt even the right Breed lol, you would think from there supplier there would be the correct breed on the box? Hahah
