Getting written permission from city and county to show to landlord?

Hi Everyone,

I hope this is the right place for this thread, I live in Atlanta, GA and I asked my landlord about getting chickens which is permitted under city ordinance which I sent him. He then responded asking for this:

Please contact both the city and the county directly and get something in writing from them confirming that the ordinances are current and allow for this and it's fine with me. Will just need that stuff on file first.

I have no idea where to get written permission from the city and county for him. Has anyone run into this problem before?

maybe have them print you off a certified?notarized? copy of the ordinance. i'm not sure anyone would write a permission slip so to speak. i believe the zoning commission would be the one to have the final say so though.
