Bought a Little Giant incubator and now I got it out of the box an it says you must use a GFCI plug in, do you have too? Anyone not use one? Thinking I may have to return it and just not hatch any :(

What do I need to do? Very worried. Would the humidity interact with the wiring inside?

I had to google it,but it's on a warning sticker on the top of the incubator, ground fault circuit interruptor

Ours didnt have that and we managed to hatch A chick from it idk hope someone else can help...

Ok thanks, don't want to get shocked lol main concern

If you house is newer it will be fine as all houses need gfci breakers so essentially you don't need the gfci switch just a normal outlet but I suggest a power strip to plus into to protect from surges.

My house is around 40 years old , could I still do it without just with a power strip? Thanks for the replies, very desperate for answers lol
