before I got any of my chickens! Like most of us!!!
I am here to say don't believe everything you read!
We started with Bantam Cochins & others because everything said GC (giant cochins) lay tiny or small eggs & they don't forage!
So I thought they lay small eggs, eat a lot of feed!
I don't know about GC foraging but, my bantams do all the time!!!
& I just love my bantams temperament! I ordered eggs.
I got GC & BO eggs to hatch yesterday the GC are just as big as the BO!!
