Giant egg with another inside?!

Has anyone seen this before? I just found a giant egg (baseball sized) on the floor of the coop, looks like they pecked it open and inside of it was a regular sized egg. Crazy!

I'm not sure who the culprit is! I have 8 girls and they're free range, I was at work when this occurred. But haven't noticed any strange behavior from anyone.
