Once or twice a week my 23 week old sapphire gem pullet lays the biggest eggs I’ve ever seen. Is this an issue? Could there be a problem? In the picture the one to the left is a normal large egg she normally lays. The one on the right is the monster egg she lays occasionally. All the monster eggs have been double yokes. Is this a problem? Or is this normal? For more background she started laying at 18 weeks. I feed them an all flock feed and supplement calcium with oyster shell. Thanks for the info!!

She's probably laying those because she's a newer layer. Give her some more time and see if she stops laying them.
It can be a problem she's laying those, she could get egg bound.
I would get some calcium citrate +D3 tablets and give her one tablet once a day until her eggs are smaller. Just pop the tablet in her mouth and she'll swallow it.

Swung by to check after a noisy day on the nesting box left behind this monster egg. This pullet laid last of her trio, and there was a double yolker a handful of times when she finally started. I'm worried that she is going to burn herself out or prolapse if she keeps doing this periodically.
