Gifted chickens!!! New Silkies!

Through Facebook, the friend of a friend contacted me about three silkies. We got them last night. Cutest things... a partridge rooster, and a white rooster and hen. We have two young silkies... blue and black (can't tell what sex they are yet).

We are very happy for the new additions!!!

The little partridge roo whipped my Welsummer roo. Ran around his legs like weave poles and scared him to death.

The white roo and hen stay together constantly. The other little guy runs around like a maniac! I think our two silkie chicks are pullets, too. Looks like we have a flock of five.

Here's hoping she doesn't do what my little Cochin girl did... Layed maybe 5 eggs and then turned into a badger and went broody
