You can definitely keep this Cornish cross alive for awhile. I rescued a 5 week old Cornish cross from slaughter. She lived with my flock for 8 months before dieing from depression after I was forced to rehome all of them except for her silkie friend. If I didn’t have to rehome my flock she would still be alive today. Eleanor laid about 10 eggs. She weighted 13 pounds before she passed away. The key to keeping them alive and healthy is1. lots of foraging 2. Don’t over feed 3. And above all let them be normal chickens.
