Gigantic Egg!!!

My RIR hen, Gladys, laid an egg yesterday that weighs 4 ounces. OUCH! Should I be worried? She seems OK and took the day off today (no wonder).

My hen laid a very large egg too. I have not weighed it. I do not have an egg scale.

My Isa Brown lays huge eggs all the time..like jumbo eggs! Sometimes I worry she will get egg bound..I mean really thats like having a 10 pound baby each day..lol She layed one the other day that was a jumbo double yolker..wouldnt even fit in an extra large carton..couldnt get the lid closed.
