Gigantic tree fell on our coop

We happened to be out of the state for the day when this dead ash tree fell over in high winds and mooshed the coop. It's a mess but we can fix it. All chickens are unhurt.

Thank goodness the birds are all okay!
All the ash in our area are standing dead because of the Emerald Ash Borers.

Glad everyone was okay! Where are you located? It got me too in West TN yesterday morning about 130 am. The Chicken tractor held up but had a broken 2x4

That is a bummer. Looks like some expensive repairs.

It got a few barns and messed up house roofs up the road, and a few powerlines.. but a few surrounding counties got their city destroyed so we were lucky

Same here. I am glad you said this because we are currently househunting in the NY southern tier and I wondered. The realtor we are working with didn't know. In fact, that is where we were when we saw the footage of the tree falling and rushed home. It was a long day.

My dumbself only had liability since she only drives it about 20 miles a week tops.. didnt expect a tree to fall on it..
