It’s a TSC special. I had to isolate 1 of our 2 silkie babies for health reasons and the other was going crazy alone so we got a TSC special to keep him/her company.... well, this ‘Ameraucana’ chick (I do totally know how the genetics - & buying birds at TSC 😂- work so I’m not expecting a show quality blue egg layer) has DOUBLED in size in less than 2 weeks and has feathers everywhere, trying to fly! No bald spots- tons of feathers coming in. We have GC’s, 3 EE’s, silkies, and Swedish Flower Hens but I’ve never seen a chick develop this quickly! She isn’t ‘fat’ but she’s definitely maturing fast. She towers over the silkies now and they are several weeks ahead. No worry it’s a meat bird, right? She definitely has the super fluffy cheeks!

The hatcheries don't sell bearded meat chickens as far as I know, and they supply places like TSC. It is probably just a fast developer. That's a sign of good health and nothing to worry about. The chick is some type of Easter egger.

Easter Egger, so a mutt that could have any pattern but is looking like it may go yellow/ blondeish
If it is female it will lay blue/green eggs.
