Gilbert, AZ - Processing Chickens

Can anyone tell me if it is legal to process chickens in my own yard in Maricopa county? My address is Gilbert but we are actually in a county island. Our property is zoned RU43 and we have 1.2 acres. I am sure nobody would see anyway, but I was just curious if it is legal to butcher them for our own consumption?

I don't think anyone would have a problem with it. There are quite a few people currently in Gilbert that do this on occasion. Gilbert does have some weird rules but I think most of them stem from an HOA.
