Gil's world- WHATS THAT GIL!! COULD IT BE?!?!?!

@Jpat @Miss Lydia
Hello!! Everything has been SO crazy busy. We haven't even been able to finish the pen up 100% yet so it's still extra hard to clean and take care... Getting that taken care of was supposed to be a matter of a couple of days but now it's taking a couple of weeks. Other than that, Gil has been laying mostly an egg a day. The past 2 days she hasn't though but every other day I got 1 egg except the one day I got 2. When I went to clean them off, the 2nd egg from that day broke in my hand because it had a weaker shell but hey, you can only expect a duck to hold so much calcium lol. Her diet is still A++, she's eating her duck feed like crazy and has her grit, oyster shell and cracked corn in a separate bowl that she eats as she pleases. Greens or treats at some point in the day is still keeping her pretty happy. I've been trying to get her outside more now that the weather is warming up (low 50's) but when it went back in the 40's she refused to go out in the cold again! When it's warm out, I am going to get her a big 55 gallon trough to keep outside that can be filled so she can dive and get more swim time in. The bath tub makes her happy, but I can only imagine a trough making her realllly happy! She used to love to pose for the camera but she decided she's fed up with that :D she's refusing the paparazzi right now. I do have pics from bath time though! Over all, she's doing great and I am doing my best to keep up with the currently extremely busy schedule but having to "tend to the duck" is a perfect excuse to ditch all responsibilities on the schedule and just chill. Everything should be back to normal in a day or two and we could not be any more impatient for that!

OH MY GOODNESS GUYS !!! TODAY MY BABY DUCK WHEN FROM KIDDO TO TEENAGER!!!

She waited until we were up and out of bed and literally standing right next to her saying good morning. Then she rocket shot a surprise into her coop for us so quickly with ease!!!!! I can't believe she waited until 7 am when we were up and standing right next to her! She's very used to that good morning routine so I really think she was waiting for us!

IM SO EXCITED!!!!!
