Hello everyone! Answer: She won't stay in her pen without flying out whenever she wants now:bow
I really didn't want to but I'll have to cover it. I just hate coming home to poop all over the floor and me staying up all night wondering if there was anything on the floor she ate when I was out for a tiny bit! Anyways, I'll re-string the top of it tomorrow. For now, she's at my feet and lucky I let her hangout uninvited! The cute faces are making up for it though! :love

Bonus points- it wasn't my jacket this time! (Although I am not the one needing my jacket for work in the AM :lau)

Edit Update: 2 minutes later... I didn't get up quick enough... make that 2 poops on the jacket.... :gig

I just got home and one of her wings was stuck straight up caught in the strings because I’m sure she tried to fly out. I wasn’t gone long so she couldn’t have been stuck like that for too long and I got her out easily and quickly once I saw her. I’m so worried her wing isn’t ok. She seems ok just a little sore when she tried to flap her wings. It was so scary to see though. Is it normal for a wing to be sore after trauma when she would try to flap or should I be worried something is wrong?! She’s holding it normal, acting normal, eating and drinking and isn’t acting like anything hurts at all. You can see in the one picture where the wing was stuck.

She’s cleaning herself and using her bill to correct the placement of the feathers so I guess it can’t be hurting her to touch or move. She just still hasn’t flapped her wing normal. It’s just a lot shorter than normal and the other wing flaps as expected and this one is a little stiff and will stop flapping pretty fast. That could be from it being sore from the incident just happening though.
