You know I had another thought actually.

In this case, it was obvious that there were problems because of seeing the leg problem.

But not long ago I thought 2 of my ducklings were runts, and it turned out they were just a different breed of duck that is smaller overall. I honestly thought 2 of them were way smaller than the others. And instead it was actually that I had 4 pekin ducklings and 3 khakis.

I thought bringing this up might help people to not be too quick to decide things.
