Gimpy the Turkey needs help

It sounds/looks like it might be a slipped tendon. I had several meat turkeys that this happened to. You may have to get him to a poultry vet to have the tendon repositioned and the leg splinted. Since he's not an overweight meat bird, it should be a good fix.

Thank you! We're going to try some of the suggestions. Gimpy is 4 months old and I'm afraid that it's too late, but at least I can say I've tried ...

We got Gimpy in a sling today. He was a happy fellow eating fresh grass out of my sons hand while I was working with his leg. After a better evaluation on his leg, I can feel that it's fully twisted before it gets to the joint. The tendon is on the joint correctly, the joint is just pointed the wrong way. Gimpy gets uncomfortable when I try to manipulate his leg and his leg begins to shake. He' s also getting stressed when the other 3 Turkey's are out of his site :(

I sent emails and pictures to 2 wildlife rehab centers. I'm going to call the vet on Monday. In the meantime, I've been preparing my son for the worst.
