Ginger Bug Kahm is it safe to feed my girls?

Good Afternoon,
I make ginger bug for my own soda Spring through Fall. This year, it grew a layer of kahm. I know that my girls love and benefit from ACV mother or kahm, so I was wondering if that would be true of my ginger bug kahm??

We've fed kumbacha scoby chopped up and they loved it. I don't let them get too much of it though. I think with anything like this, fermented for humans usually contains sugar, so that could be of concern, and why I'd just limit it to small amounts for a couple of days and see how they do.
