I have red/buff pullet that I have no real clue what breed she is. I picked her up(rescued) her from TSC. They said they were buff Orps, pullets, and from Ideal. Out of the 4 I bought; 1 died on the way home and 2 ended up boys. They obviously had no clue what they were talking about, so the source may be wrong too.
This is her at 4.5 months old. I need to get new pics.
She is sort of buff/red with a blue tail. When younger she had blue ticking on her neck. Her tail is messed up, because when young a Cockerel in the brooder went cannibal and ate part of her tail nub off and killed 2 others. She grew fast, had huge wattles, and a bright red comb from just a few weeks old. She looked like a Roo until about 4 months old.
At almost 10 months old, she is a 13 pound pullet. Extremely friendly, also her name.
I thought maybe an Ideal Red Broiler, but I have never actually seen a pick of one from Ideal.
