So, I have a 6 week old Peking duck. When it was about 3 weeks or 4 weeks, she started having isolated quacks that were increasing as the day went by. This was much earlier than my previous ladies. But then she went back to baby tweets entirely, and as of a few days ago she sounds like a raspy male, or at least the early sounds of a male. Why would she quack first? Is this normal? Is gender still up in the air, or are these raspy male sounds and the sudden stop of quacks all I need to know. No drake feather yet.

Right, I guess I’m confused because I did hear quacks very early, and now like I said they have stopped and raspy sound has emerged.
I understand because when getting the voice it's not always easy to know what your actually hearing..
