Girl or boy ? Silkie chicken

Here is snowy our 19 week old white silkie chicken which I previously posted about but I fell these are much better photos
What we thinking girl or boy?
The second silkie is younger at about 10 weeks any idea on sex ?

Hmmm this is a tough one. Your white silkie is giving me mixed messages.

The little black one is a bit young but the comb looks pretty flat from what I can see so I'm leaning towards girl at this point.

The whites comb is large for a pullet of that age. The tail reminds me more of a younger cockerels. I'm not really seeing obvious streamers, a picture of the back of the crest might help. In most pictures it looks like there are no obvious streamers which I would expect to see by now on a cockerel. In one picture it kind of looks like there might be a streamer sticking up but I can't see it well enough (if it does actually have streamers I'd say it is a cockerel). It could be a slow developing cockerel or a pullet that has some more cockerel like features. I keep going back and forth on that one, so I'm not much help.

They are both very cute!

What are streamers ? And where will I find them ? What’s the crest ? Thankyou xxx

the crest is the pouffe on top of the head.

streamers are longer backwards pointing feathers on the crest and back of the neck. I'll try and post a pic
