Girl or boy?

I thought I had purchased a peacock but I have been told that green means girl. So is this really a pea hen? She is still gimpy but gets around good and has learend to roost so I dont think we are going to cull afterall just will have a special needs peachick LOL!! I had tried the extra vitamins in the water and switched the feed to a special feed with the extra protein etc and its leg is no better but she/he has learned to get around and roost...

Thats is a peacock, the neck will turn blue, as he is a Indiablue.

Agree there, that's a boy. Notice the barring on it's back. Thus tell you as females have very little barring up by the neck area.

India girls only get green on their necks, boys can get *both* green and/or blue.
