Hi. I have 8 chicks... one of them we think is male. Is there anything that can help to tell us she is really a he?

Post a picture! Besides comb, wattle, and spur development, you can check their backs, as males will develop saddle feathers. They are long and pointy, and generally brighter colored then females. However, they don't grow them until they are reaching adulthood.
 
Like Ms. Frizzle said! Pics are your best bet. Depends on age and breed, but some can be sexed by wing and tail feathers too.
