Hi! This is Camille--he/she is just under 5 weeks old. It's apparently either a pure wheaten/blue wheaten Ameraucana, or a wheaten Ameraucana/blue Orpington mix. I'm really wondering if I have a hen or a roo ... and whether it's purebred Ameraucana or a mix. Thank you!!

ps, when walking around, it holds its tail up, like a roadrunner. Really cute!

This probably isn't helpful but... I have two buff orpington pullets about that age and they look almost exactly like your baby in the pic. I would say she's a she. : )

comb is awfully red for a month old to be a pullet what color are the legs?

They're the same shade as her toes--very pale, much more a cream/whitish color than the yellow legs of my Rhode Island Reds. No blue or black wash, or green, or anything at all. Do you think pale legs=boy?
