how do they no what sex it is at the hatchery when there a day old

some just check the wing feathers, they are not considered true chick sexers or what ever their job title would be. most go to school to learn how . it is more of an art form. they vent sex them. it has to be done at a certain age and there will be a tiny nub inside the vent of the males.

they have one hole, its where everything happens.egg laying copulation, pooping. but one side in there closes off when an egg is being laid so the poop doesnt get on your eggs same with mating

are you 12 yrs old? i would of told you to ask your grandma what a vent is. i didnt tell my own children till they were 15 or so.
