Girl with chickens

Hi there! Just introducing myself. Texas girl new to chickens and homesteading. What would've started with a small flock of 4 chickens ended up with 8 chicks. Just couldn't let them go once I held one. They are about 5-6 weeks old now. Thanks for all the future guidance!
