Girls are't curious about nest boxes. UNTIL NOW! (Pg. 2)

Thanks for everyone's input, if anyone was on the same boat as me don't worry because I finally got my 1st egg yesterday and she laid it right in the box! None of my chickens even got on the ramp but she went up and laid it no problem.

Oh NO!!! Don't tell me you got eggs! My girls are 23 weeks old and not one egg!!No one is 'singing', no one is squatting!!! What's a girl to do???

Congrats!!! always feels good to get our first eggs, and our second, third...lol....I know when my girls started to first lay...I would walk out there and TALK TO THEM...Ok, girls come on, new day...who's gonna lay the first egg???

, go feed them and it was like come one girls...you all have to work for your feed....

Now they are 27wks...and I get an egg a day from my girls...6 of them...I have 2 that still arent laying as of yet....still waiting...

It's great when they finally lay eggs in the nestboxes!! Today is the 2nd day that my girls finally figured out what they were there for. Mine were already laying, but in the coop, nestled on the ground where they'd make a little indentation to 'nest' in. Now I can open the little henhouse door and get them, and they're much cleaner too! Yay!!
