Girls love the new Fan

We put a box fan on the coup and at first the girls were afraid of it ...20 minutes later the six of them squatted down in the breeze and are in heaven.
Plenty of cold water , shade and a FAN .

My 6 girls are happy and were still getting at least 4 eggs a day.

Oh Yeah, we got our 1st egg on our 30th wedding aniversery , June 26th. Made my wifes day.

ive added a 20" box fan to my coop aswell and the chicken really seem to like the breeze my only concern is how long it will last in such a dusty environment and how often i need to be blowing it out to prevent fire hazards. im only gonna be using it in the hottest of days thru the summer so it should be manageable but i will be keeping an eye on it
