Okay thank you!The one being held is a pullet. The earliest pics don't strike me as 5 months old (very first pic in particular looks more 10-12 weeks). If you're looking at bird older than about 13 weeks, the hackle and saddle pointy rooster feathers should be visible. My advice: see the birds in person before making payment. If there's point feathers around the tail, should have comb/wattles and is a roo. Also, even partial crests: Doris day smooth = pullet. Einstein wild = roo.
And do you think that is a wild crest or a smooth crest on the fluffy head??The one being held is a pullet. Smooth. And the not laying yet on the very first pic, but based upon suspected youth, the wattles are suspicious. And do you think that is a wild crest or a smooth crest on the fluffy head??
Oooohhhh, I see! Hmmmm….Smooth. And the not laying yet on the very first pic, but based upon suspected youth, the wattles are suspicious.
The roo hen combo pic shows the wild crest and the larger comb in front.
Thank you! They're both females. No male specific feathering at all.
I think you’re right! That looks pretty accurateYou're looking (in crests) for this sort of thing
