The girls have spent 2 nights in their coop. I am putting them in around 7:30 and then waiting for the door to close at dusk. It is so shaded that I decided today to use the timer instead of the light setting. I still have not mastered the light, it only gave two options, manual or light. Will it come on since I'm trying the timer? The girls are all going up and down the ladder now at 6 1/2 wks. My question: is it normal for the girls to put themselves into the coop several times a day to cuddle and nap? It seems to be mid-day and late afternoon nap time? They come running when I approach the run (spoiled to treats). Also what do you use in your nesting box for bedding? Did discover that an 18 lb. dog CAN move 10 lb. rocks if they are determined. More rocks tomorrow.
