Im sorry.... my condolensces.....
You will stare until your eye pop out... and then when one pips you will TALK TO IT... chirp at it.... tap the incubator to make it chirp and shake... and watch every bleeping minute of it hatching.... oh can you tell Im in the middle of this right now.... hubby has to forcefully lead me away from the incubator and not let go..... Luckily I have to go to work..... or I would be insane and blind cause my eyeballs dried up..... please remember to breath and not hold your breath to long while hatching... or you will pass out and miss it....
In the span of a month I went from 1 LG incubator that holds 41 to 2 LG's and a cabinet incubator that holds 180................ there is no hope for me.....
And WHERE do you put all of those chickens????
Um.... Im not sure yet....
Luckily I have sold the first batch of chicks I hatched... have a buyer for a nice handful of the batches coming up... I am going ot put some ads out when they hatch... chicks are hot hot hot around here... everyone wants chickens this year. I also have ducks and turkeys hatching.... my first chick buyer had the "duckling cuteness stroke out" and if hubby had not kept repeating himself over and over frantically "MY DUCKLINGS ARE NOT FOR SALE...." he might have nagged me until i sold them.... now more are hatching.... Im waiting for hubby to say... OK I have neough ducklings.... but he hasnt.... I think he's sick and dieing or something..... hes the sane one around here... Maybe when they get a little bigger and dont make such a wispy wheep sound... he cant resist the newly hatched wheeping sound...
My bunnies are wondering why there barn has been taken over by little chickens.....
